About Hermanos General Contractors Miami — Family-Built, Miami-Rooted Since 2005

We are a family-owned general contracting company with deep roots in the Miami community. From our first project in Hialeah to landmark renovations across Coral Gables and Brickell, our name has stood for craftsmanship, honesty, and work that holds up to South Florida's toughest conditions.

Built by Hands That Know Miami

Michael and Antonio grew up in Kendall, Florida, where they learned the basics of construction working alongside Edgar — a skilled contractor who built homes in Miami-Dade throughout the 1980’s and 2000’s.

After completing a formal apprenticeship through a Local Trade Program, he earned his Florida Certified General Contractor licensein 2005 and led to the brothers founding of Hermanos General Contractors Miami the same year.

Twenty years later, the company has grown to a team of 50+ licensed tradespeople, completing over 500 residential and commercial projects across Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Every project — from a Brickell condo bathroom remodel to a new custom home in Cutler Bay — still goes through the brothers’ personal reviews before we hand over keys.

From Apprentice to Contractor — The Hermanos Story

About Hermanos Brothers
Hermanos General Contractors Miami

We don't use out-of-state subcontractors. We don't flip projects to the lowest bidder. Every Hermanos crew member is a locally employed, background-checked professional who knows Miami's building codes, hurricane standards, and neighborhood architectural character — from the Mediterranean Revival homes of Coral Gables to the CBS block construction common in Hialeah and Doral.

Why We're Different from National Franchises

Hermanos General Contractors About Us

Our Safety Standards & Compliance Framework

🪖

OSHA 10 Job Site Standards

All Hermanos crew leads hold current OSHA 10 certifications. We conduct pre-project safety briefings and maintain documented protocols for fall protection, tool safety, and hazardous material handling on every Miami-Dade worksite.

We operate under strict safety and compliance protocols on every job site — protecting our crew, your home, and the surrounding neighborhood.

🌀

Florida Hurricane Code Compliance

All structural work meets or exceeds Miami-Dade County's High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) building standards — the strictest in the country. We use only NOA (Notice of Acceptance) approved products and impact-rated assemblies.

🔍

Background-Checked Crews

Every Hermanos employee undergoes a comprehensive background check and drug screening before their first day. You'll never find an anonymous subcontractor from a day-labor pool working inside your Miami home.

📋

Manufacturer Certifications

Our Miami-Based Supplier & Subcontractor Network

Local Material Suppliers

Preferred accounts with Builders FirstSource Miami, MSI Surfaces (Doral showroom), Sherwin-Williams Commercial Miami, and Florida Tile — ensuring material availability, pricing leverage, and quality consistency across all projects.

We source materials locally and partner with trusted South Florida subcontractors — keeping money in the community and maintaining direct quality control over every trade on your project.

🔌

Licensed Trade Subcontractors

All Hermanos subcontractors are Florida-licensed, insured, and carry their own active Workers' Compensation policies. We maintain preferred relationships with licensed Miami-Dade electricians, plumbers, and HVAC contractors we've vetted over years of joint project work.

🏛️

Miami Architectural Knowledge

From the barrel-tile rooflines of Coral Gables Mediterranean Revivals to the flat-roof modernism common in Miami Beach and Surfside — our team understands regional architectural styles and HOA standards across Miami-Dade's diverse neighborhoods.

🤝

Community Involvement

Hermanos General Contractors Miami participates in the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, supports local trade apprenticeship programs, and has donated construction labor to Pulse Church of Miami since 2024. We're a business that lives where it works.
